On 19-21 January 2009, a regional workshop on Land and Water Management for Adaptation to Climate Change took place in Hanoi, Vietnam. The workshop focused on the regional priorities and challenges in South East Asia regarding adaptation in land and water management. The workshop was co-hosted by the Minister for Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam and the Danish Minister for Development Cooperation. Most recently added photos:

Following the two regional workshops, the concluding conference was convened on 16-17 April 2009 in Nairobi, Kenya. The Nairobi Statement, including five Guiding Principles on adaptation to climate change, was adopted at the conference.
